All of us here at Your Move Chess & Games wanted to wish all of our customers, past and present, a very wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year.

2012 Was not just exciting for the business, however – It was a very exciting year for me personally as well – I got married a few months ago.

We’ve been together for over six years, and it was time to take the next step. Shannon is Australian, so has been here on a work visa and it was time to make her stay more permanent! In any case, over in Australia and in the UK they celebrate the day after Christmas as Boxing Day. This is their version of our “black friday” where you can find the best sales of the year.

Now, obviously I missed Boxing Day this year – we were all just too exhausted (and perhaps too over-fed) from the holidays. That won’t stop us from doing a little boxing day sale here at our store and on our website, however!
