 A new style here at ChessUSA, these pieces were chosen as a crossroads between affordability and durability, without sacrificing the staunton elegance. It's reminicent of the classic French staunton style, but makes itself unique by taking a more robust profile compared to some of its contemperaries. From the proudly adorned king, to the dramatic crenellations of the rook, this set stands apart as one befitting of a hearty defensive player. 

These well weighted and balanced chessmen feature extra queens and felted bottoms.
