As is noted on another review of this product, the felt that should be adhered to the bottom of these chess pieces is NOT attached. Each and every piece of felt stayed in the box. I haven't been able to use the chess set yet because I'm going to have to go to a craft store to find felt, cut it the right size for each one of the chess pieces, etc. For a set with this price point, I find this to be very frustrating. And considering this is a known problem brought to the attention of Chess USA dot com in a prior review, this should have been fixed on any other set before shipping to a customer. The pieces themselves are lovely, but I wouldn't order this again because who has time to do craft projects when you purchase a brand new item?!

What a great theme for a chess set. The pieces look fantastic and feel substantial. I'd give this set five stars except that nearly all of the felt pads on the bottom of the pieces had fallen off. The set arrived on one of the coldest days of the year, so perhaps that had something to do with it. I was able to pick up a sheet of self-adhesive felt from Hobby Lobby for under 2 dollars. It took a bit of my time to replace all the felt, but the bottom line is I shouldn't have had to do it at all.
