This is a mahogany and sycamore chess board. It is an excellent choice for an inexpensive chess board to be left out on display that can pair with virtually any style of theme or staunton chess pieces. The board is best matched with chessmen 3" to 3 1/2" tall. This chess board has felt pads underneath to help protect the surface it rests on. This chess board also features algebraic notation.
