This fantastic solid wood chess board was made here in New York by a local artist.  The concept behind the interchange line is that the board tops can be changed with different wood types for a different looks.

This board features multiple tiers of hand crafted solid pieces of wood. The top frame magnetizes in to the center, also allowing some expansion to prevent cracking over time.  Each of these boards is unique and a complete work of art.  It features a 2 1/4" square size, ideally for tournament chessmen with a king height between 3 3/4" to 4 1/4".
