Overall, I'm very pleased with this chess board. It looks great and nicely complements the Wild Animals set that I purchased at the same time. The built-in drawers provide ample storage for the pieces. I'd give this a five-star rating except for two minor things. First, there was a trace of glue slopped on the edge of the board. It's not terribly noticeable, but for the price, it shouldn't be there. Second, the board has no "feet" as such. The plain wooden case sits on the tabletop to scratch or be scratched as it slides around whatever it sits on. I used some self-adhesive felt to pad the corners and am much happier with it that way.
