13 1/2" Walnut & Maple Storage Chess Board with 1 1/2" Squares

This fantastic storage chess board is walnut and maple. Walnut is a medium brown and maple is a standard for the white squares in chess boards. The chess board removes to reveal a storage compartment.

The storage compartment offers individual slot storage for your slender chess pieces from 2 1/2" up to approximately 3 1/2" tall. If you have unusually sized or proportioned chess men, please check the sizing to make sure they will fit in the compartments.

The board has no border to save on space, giving it a modern look that works well with theme and traditional staunton chessmen.
