17 3/4" Wengue Drip Storage Chess Board with 2 1/4" Squares

These amazing chess boards are a unique design crafted by a local artist in New York. Inspired by the works of Salvador Dali, this solid-wood chess board features squares that seemingly melt off the sides of the chess board.

While the design is certainly unique, the raised design also provides ample storage for staunton chess pieces up to 4 1/4" tall. The chess board pulls off to reveal a felt lined interior with a grid-seperated slat system to hold all of your pieces securely without risk of them rolling around.

The base of this board is made from Wengue, and the top features solid blocks of Wengue and Maple. Each one is virtually unique and only a very limited number of these boards have been commissioned.
