This was a replacement for exactly the same set, which I lost during a trip last Fall. I was pleased with the original, or I wouldn't have ordered a replacement. I'm pleased with the new one also, and will take more pains to keep track of it.

Truly a pocket set, just like carrying a tri-fold wallet. The flat magnetic disks aren't quite like having actual chess pieces, but the image on each disk is well designed and there's no possibility for confusion about the identity of a particular piece. The two extra queens are a nice touch.

About the size of my checkbook when folded up and the magnets hold pretty well. The only issue is the picture shows a plastic compartment to hold the pieces, but the board I received didn't have one.
