Parker's Chess Adventure by Dave Schloss

This 152-page, 8 ½” x 11” story/puzzle/coloring book contains 100 one-move puzzles for kids rated 1000 or less. It covers 10 sets of chess tactics and provides space for kids to record their answers and keep track of overall results. Each chapter contains a different puzzle type along with two pages from the story, which is a warm and fun adventure about Parker the Pawn and his friend Danny the Dragon working their way toward the castle to play chess with the king.
