This exclusive chess set features Mark of Westminster 3 1/4" Weighted Ebonized and Boxwood New Lardy chessmen with a mahogany and sycamore chess board featuring notation.

French Lardy is a timeless, classic style of chessmen seen throughout europe and the world dating back a century. We have paired this design with a traditional board with notation to highlight a strong contrast - imperative for many in casual and tournament play.  The strong contrast maintains distinction between the black pieces and the mahogany board, so the pieces are never 'lost' - a terrible mistake during a chess match!

The Polish made Mahogany and Sycamore Chess Board is 19" x 19" with 2" Squares.  The board is 1/2" thick and made with real wood veneers.  With notation, this chess set can easily be accompanied by a scorebook to keep track of your games for posterity - or to review your mistakes later.
